We were notified that Sophie was awarded the UGRACH - Grand Agility Championship Title!
We are so proud of her!!
Finished the 2003 National rankings second in AGI, fifth in AGII and fourth in AGIII.
Sophie went to her first ever agility trial in August 2002. There were lots of new things to learn like sleeping in the motel, all of the trial noises, etc. It was pretty scary for a little rescue dog. Sophie rose above all odds and ran almost flawlessly. That weekend she earned her U-AGI and U-AGII titles and 10 points toward the 100 she needed for her U-ACH. The next weekend trial she earned 70 championship points and finished her U-ACH the next weekend trial. Finally -- her fourth weekend she earned her U-ACHX. In only four weekends, she went from no titles to the highest title offered in UKC agility. In 2003 she ran in the UKC all star competition and finished the National rankings second in AGI, fifth in AGII and fourth in AGIII. Needless to say -- we are very proud of the Sophster and the fact that she rose above her fears. Sophie has started competition obedience class so we hope we have more news to report in late 2004
