Annie
'PR' Saghalie’s Athabascar Annawan CGC DNA-VIP was born 11/13/97 to Koosah and Bubba. Annie’s name means "beloved Chinook from heaven" and she truly is. We have named our kennel "Annawan" after Annie. Annie’s hips are OFA Good and her eyes CERF normal.. Annie is 23 inches and weighs 60 pounds. Annie was our first Chinook and opened up a whole new world for us. We have met a wonderful Chinook family all across the country. The Chinook community is focused on the health of the breed and are truly wonderful people.
This is a recent picture of Annie. She had some health issues over the past few years, and is feeling great now. We wanted to use this recent picture so everyone could see just how good she is feeling now.
Annie is such a steady and very funny dog. We are active in rescue and every dog or puppy we have brought into the pack spends the first few weeks with "Auntie Annie." Annie gently "explains" the rules of good behavior and provides correction with good humor. She is one of the smartest dogs we have ever had and has the best sense of humor of any dog we have had.
